Where will I stay?

The Eagle’s Roost: Originally the home of Fort’s founders, Truman and Jan Robertson, The Eagle’s Roost was renovated for TruNorth in 2008. Overlooking stunning Spider Lake, this facility features 2 dorm spaces (split by gender) that each include a bunk room, shared closet, and full bathroom. There is a fully furnished kitchen and main living area. In addition, each student receives an individual desk in the study room, affectionately known as the “Hobbit Hole”.

What about…?

Parking: Students may bring their vehicles to camp if desired. The Roost’s parking lot accommodates up to 10 vehicles.

Laundry: Students have an opportunity to take a weekly trip into town (about a 25-minute drive) to do laundry at the local laundromat. Pack quarters!

Grocery Shopping: As part of communal living, students collaborate to create a shopping list aligned with their planned group meals and take a shopping trip weekly.
