Nothing says summertime like fun in (and near) the water! Fort’s Spider Lake offers swimming (with lifeguards on duty), a high dive, and the ever-popular Quadrapod and Lilypad. If you like boating, Fort offers kayaks, canoes, sail boats, paddle boats, and rowboats. You can also play volleyball, tetherball, and chess along the waterfront. Whatever you enjoy, get ready to dive into adventures along the lake.

The Details

  • Lifeguards are on duty during open activity times.
  • Lifejackets, both child and adult sizes are available.
  • Kayaks, Canoes, Paddleboards, and Sailboats are all available from sunrise to sunset, no charge. Lifejackets are required. Grab a lifejacket, choose a paddle, and hit the water!
  • Sandy beachfront and Adirondack chairs await, bring your sand toys.
  • High dive, Quadrapod (rope swing) and Lilypad – Fort Favorites!
  • Volleyball court open play, sometimes campers develop their own tournament.
  • Human Foosball and Tetherball – test your skill.
  • Tiki Hut carries beverages and sweet treats.
