As the leaves began to change, we celebrated 9 changed lives through baptisms in Spider Lake last weekend!

Five things to know this fall!

Fall has officially arrived in the Northwoods, and wow – if there was ever evidence for our Creator, it’s in the splendor of autumn. My camera roll is brimming with pictures of vibrant oranges, reds, and yellows, intermingled amongst the magnificent green pines. Just when I think the fall colors have reached their peak, the next day is even more gorgeous.

While it can be hard to let go of the long, sunny, warm days of summer, the beauty of the transition reminds me to pause and think about what is good, true, and beautiful in THIS moment.

Here at Fort, while summer ministry is over, there is so much beauty happening right now, and so much more good stuff just on the horizon. We wanted to take a moment to pause and tell you FIVE THINGS you’ll want to know during this fall season!

Summer staff build community, deepen their faith, grow in skills, and make a huge impact!

5. Final push! The Fort Future Campaign 90% funded!

Construction has begun on the Happy Day Creative Arts Building, and thanks to the guidance and provision of the Lord moving through all of you, the campaign is 90% funded! The provision through this campaign is completely a movement of God, and we are overwhelmed by His generosity! Would you prayerfully consider being part of the final push?

Friends, we know you are busy this time of year, and in the midst of the transitions and changes and full schedules and carpools, It can be easy to feel a little overwhelmed. The good news? The Lord remains constant and steadfast. So whether the changing of seasons feels sad or exciting to you, keep your heart fixed on Him. Thank Him. Turn to Him. He’s there with you.

“Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.” James 1:17

We are excited about what God’s done, doing, and yet to do here at camp. Thank you, Fort Family, for being part of it.

In Him and for Him,

Heather
