Teaching and worship in creation – God is at work

What does the future of Fort look like? How is the Lord leading?

Through much prayer and planning over the past six years, we are eager to share that God is leading Fort to continue and amplify its 67 year ministry of impacting lives for eternity. As we follow His leading, we invite you to explore and engage with the Fort Future Campaign!

This is a milestone in Fort’s history, and we’ve dedicated it with John 15:8, “This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.” From this verse, the future of Fort desires to be: In Christ. Bearing Fruit. Impacting Generations.

The purpose, the projects, and the provision are found here.  Plus, we’ll keep the campaign project pages and the total pledges & gifts amount updated so you’re always in-the-know.

Pray – because we are dependent on Him in all things

The planning of the Fort Future campaign, and all that we do at Fort, is covered in prayer. We continue to pray as a staff and invite you to join us. You can receive a weekly text message and pray alongside the Fort Family!

Summer Staffers rejoice at the construction site – next year this crew will be spending their summer in this great new space

We have officially broken ground on the Summer Staff & Volunteer Housing project. Naturally, the summer staff are jumping for joy!

This project provides new housing that will increase bed capacity from 24 to 40, including space for conversations and fellowship. We routinely turn volunteers away during critical periods, due to lack of suitable housing. The Jay Lodge, one of two primary facilities for summer staff and volunteer housing, was built in 1971, and is not a suitable building for many and renovation is not a viable option.

Visit the project page to take a virtual tour of the building plans!

Thank you for being part of the work God orchestrates through Fort’s Ministry to impact lives for eternity!

Grateful to Serve at Fort,
Laura Borkenhagen
