Celebrate with us: God moves among the Fort Family this winter!
Since mid-December, over 1000 campers and numerous volunteers have turned onto Wilderness Trail, passing the Fort Wilderness sign. We are deeply grateful for God’s blessings and your prayers and support during these months of ministry. An incredible 98% of campers indicated on their surveys that they experienced spiritual impact! Praise God for using His Word, adventure programs, the wilderness, and Christian fellowship to fulfill His purposes, again and again! Here are just a few personal stories of how God worked this winter:
“Some of my friends told me they felt God’s presence here for the first time. That’s amazing because they said they were an atheist the week before!”
“I felt God’s presence when I was alone on the ski trail and I felt able to just breathe, worship Him, and rest with Him!”

As we rejoice in what God has done, would you also pray with us for the 98 individuals who indicated they trusted Jesus for the first time this winter at camp? Pray for believers to walk alongside them and disciple them in their faith, and that this would be only the beginning of their story with Him!

Camp is always better with friends! This summer, we’re launching a Refer-a-Friend promotion, and we’d love for you to invite your friends to come with you! There’s nothing better than experiencing camp together—sharing laughter, adventure, and growing in faith side by side.

Discs or clubs? You’re invited to golf with us!
This year, we are thrilled to be celebrating the 20th anniversary of our Golf Classic fundraiser, hosted by Abbey Springs Golf Course (near Lake Geneva). This special tradition brings together Fort Friends from all over the Midwest! Your participation will help further the kingdom work at Fort Wilderness. Make plans to join us May 19!
Prefer throwing discs to putting balls? NEW this year – join us for Disc Wild, our inaugural Disc Golf fundraiser! This exciting event is all about coming together to enjoy a game of Disc Golf while supporting the creation of Jackal’s Lair, a brand-new Disc Golf course at camp! Grab a few friends and join us at White River Disc Golf course in Lake Geneva on May 18 for this exciting new event!

Just like a campfire needs more than one log to keep burning, our faith is strengthened when we walk alongside others.
One of the greatest gifts of camp ministry is the relationships we build—around the campfire, on the trails, in the dining hall, and through shared moments of laughter and deep conversations about faith. There’s something about being at camp with other believers that makes connection feel effortless.
But what about when you’re not here? The truth is, we were never meant to do life alone. Even when miles separate us, we still need one another!
As camp enters a quieter season while we ramp up for summer ministry, we encourage you to stay connected. Register for an event, share a story of how Fort has impacted you, reach out for prayer, or send a note of encouragement to a Fort Friend or staff member. Your Fort Family is here, and we love staying connected to you!
