Smiles are the theme at Leadership Lab, Adventure Outpost and Main Camp this summer!
YHWH: The God Who Is… UNCHANGING

Earlier this month, smoke from Canadian wildfires caused hazardous air quality across the Northwoods. Out of an abundance of care for our youth campers, our Student Ministries staff made the difficult decision to move Kids Camp indoors for two days, using space generously provided by one of our local partner churches.
The move came right in the middle of a session where the gospel was being shared – but God’s plans could not be thwarted. Camp moved, campers remained safe, and that very day, 16 Kids Campers indicated they had decided to follow Jesus for the first time!
What a powerful reminder that even when circumstances change unexpectedly, God does not. The Holy Spirit is still at work, captivating young hearts with the truth of the gospel. What an unchanging and mighty God we serve!

There’s a lot happening at Fort, and we’d love to bring you in on it! As we celebrate 70 years of ministry, our Board and staff have prayerfully reaffirmed the vision, mission, and priorities guiding us forward as we follow the leading of our Faithful God. YHWH: The God Who Is… OUR GOOD SHEPHERD
If you visited the stables this summer, you may have met some of our newest (and woolliest) residents: baby goats, alpacas, and sheep. Watching the Stables staff gently guide and care for these beautiful creature gets us thinking more about how the Lord, our Good Shepherd, leads and guides us.
Throughout this season, we have seen God faithfully shepherd Fort. At Adventure Outpost, He guided our staff when plans changed, providing a safe place for campers, and continuing to draw young hearts to Himself. As we look ahead, we trust that same Shepherd to guide our vision, lead our staff, and keep this ministry centered on His purposes.
This is YHWH: the God who is present and at work in every part of life. When we learn to look for Him, we see His character all around us: unchanging, faithful, and always leading with care.
