2022 COVID Guidelines
Fort Wilderness is following CDC Guidelines surrounding COVID. Please follow the guidelines outlined below. If you have questions, please contact the business office: 715-277-2587.
Health Guidelines
- Camp is almost entirely outdoors – enjoy God’s creation
- Dining – You have options!
- Dining indoors – dining hall
- Dining outdoors – green tent, picnic tables, or to-go containers to take meals back to your housing
- Program and Common Areas
- Air purification with UVC lighting is in key facilities
- Public Spaces: Campgrounds, Canteen, Nature Center, Gathering Place – please limit your time indoors
- High Risk: If you have a medical condition or situation that makes you “high risk” – please let us know so we can properly support you
- If Sick: If you become ill at or before coming to camp
- Before Camp
- If you have COVID symptoms, get tested
- If you have COVID, do not attend camp
- At Camp
- If you become sick with COVID symptoms while at camp, isolate from others and notify our camp nurse Robyn Leyden
- If you are exposed to COVID and your vaccines are up to date, no action needed
- If you are exposed to COVID and had COVID in past ninety days, no action needed
- If you are exposed to COVID and are not vaccinated, isolate from others for five days with mask recommended for 5 days
