Missionary Staff
The majority of Fort Wilderness' year-round staff is composed of missionaries who have committed 10, 20 or more years to the ministry. Generous friends, families and churches partner with us financially to pay our entire salary through Fort. This process takes considerable effort and time; in the end, it is a rewarding experience because of the significant relationship and personal growth that that takes place as missionaries build a Support Team.

Each year, we also hire a handful of short-term missionaries to serve for 3-11 month commitments in key roles (Program Specialist, RAs for our TruNorth Internship, Kitchen Asst., Accommodations Asst.).
